A Double Success Story!

Donna lost her dear dog, Jazzy last year, and contacted Brookhaven Animal Rescue League (BARL) in Brookhaven, MS seeking a new, older companion dog. As a senior herself, Donna felt strongly about having an older dog. Luckily, the staff at BARL kept her in mind, and when they were contacted by an older woman who needed to relinquish Bonnie because she could no longer care for her, Donna was contacted.

Donna met Bonnie, and it was love at first sight! Getting Bonnie on a schedule, with plenty of fresh air, exercise, and attention, was the cure for the issues Bonnie had in her previous home. Donna says Bonnie is the perfect fur baby.
